Women’s Olympic Barbell is 15kg, length 201cm with 25mm shaft diameter. Our Olympic Barbell are made of top quality heat treated alloy steel with high tensile strength. How to clean a barbell Knurling?
A brass brush is the best way, it’s hard enough to get into the knurling to wipe out the magnesium powder and dirty. And won’t damage the finish of the bar.
The sleeves of the Olympic Barbell are not spinning smooth after long time use , what should I do?
This is a widely asked question. It’s time to maintain the barbell. What you need is just a snap ring clip. You can take off the sleeves and take out the bearings very easy, add some lubricating oil. The Olympic Barbell will be functional as new.
You can hardly say which finish is the best. Each way has benefits and defects.
For example:
If you are pursuing the ultimate touch feeling of the knurling. Bare steel Olympic Barbell and black oxide Olympic Barbell are the best, but they are easy to rust. Stainless steel Olympic Barbell is also a good choice, but it’s super expensive.
If you are looking for an economic barbell. Black phosphate and chrome Olympic Barbells are the best options, but they will peal off after long time use.
If you are looking for a barbell which not rust easily. Cerakote barbell and Bright Zinc barbell are good choice. But the knurling not feels good and also expensive.
In my opinion, Hard Chrome is the best finish. It very thin, so the touch feeling is good. And it’s very anti rust. What’s more, the price is not very expensive.
