Bright Zinc offers excellent corrosion resistance as it is a sacrificial coating in that the zinc coating slowly corrodes over time protecting the barbell underneath. It also makes the bar look better. It actually close to Hard Chrome Barbells, the difference it has a yellow color compare to the hard chrome.
